A few months ago I got bored (really bored) and thought it would be fun to empty out my purse and scan in all the items. Then I got an even better idea, not just scan them, but vector them! So here’s my next proposal: how cool would it be to have a book of 20+ purses and the junk inside them? Pictured, vectored, whatever. Maybe the picture of the purse on the left page and all its contents on the right page. Then they could be organized by chapter as small/medium/large etc.. think about it.

After hours, and hours, of pouring over my site since getting it from the coder I’m really excited to see it start to take shape. My latest accomplishment has been adding more pictures to the portfolio page… by that I mean now when you click on a thumbnail or title, most have options to view another picture within the set. I’ve also added descriptions for each piece. I still have to add Gobblerfest (which will take forever) and the AIDS Awareness Week Campaign (which will also take forever), but it’s 3:00am and I have a ridiculous headache from staring at this computer screen for the last two days straight.

Not to say that my hard work hasn’t paid off. I was just offered an internship this past Friday at an amazing interactive design agency here in Blacksburg called Modea. Couldn’t be more psyched!

Charlie just moved into a new place back in the boonies of Tom’s Creek and he’s trying to make it more homey. So, last night I told him I’d help paint his office if he bought me a beer and played bad music full blast. What really ended up happening was buying me a Mike’s Hard Lemonade (I know, I know) and us listening to VH1’s top 100 songs of the 90’s full blast. Anyway, it’s a work in progress, but his blood-red room is starting to take shape, or should I say color? Next stop: living room.

Lately I’ve been obsessed with making this font, it’s based on my handwriting. I’m spending far too many hours in front of the computer messing with it.

And with that short introduction, here is my first original font (I know I’m sort of cheating because it’s based on handwriting and therefore does not have to be perfect..)
